you are applying to extend your long-term visa or to get a long-term residence permit or to extend the
validity period of this permit you will be asked by the employees of the Regional Department of the Ministry
of Interior, among other things, to prove that you have valid travel health insurance. This travel
health insurance can be arrange only with the insurance company which is authorize to arrange it in the
Czech Republic, within the extent of the complex health care and for the whole period of your stay. Because
of the strict conditions for conclusion of this health insurance based on the amended Law no. 326/1999
of the Digest concerning the stay of foreigners in the Czech Republic your present health insurance propably
does not the requirements set by this law.
We cooperate with all the authorized insurance companies (Maxima pojišťovna,
a.s., Pojišťovna VZP, a.s., Slávia pojišťovna, a.s., Uniqua pojišťovna, a.s., Victoria Volksbanken pojišťovna,
a.s.). The price of the insurance is 1000 CZK / month.
